Simple steps to using AusmedOnline

1. Go to the website http://www.ausmedonline.com.

    

2. Enter your username and password then click Log in.

 



 

3. To browse health care resources, click ‘Find Topics’ or any of the boxes that run along the top of the page to decide what type of learning you want to engage in.

 



 

4. When you find a resource you want to download just click the red box ‘Download’.

 



 

5. A box will pop up asking you to confirm your download. Click the red box ‘Member Download’ to commence the download.

 



 

6. The resource will start downloading (as seen in the box below). This shouldn’t take long at all.

 



 

7. Once the resource has finished downloading it will open immediately. If it is an eChapter it will open as a PDF file (which you can read, print or save but not make changes to). Audio files will open in iTunes, Windows Media Player or a similar program. PowerPoint presentations will open in PowerPoint (PC) or Keynote (Mac)
