Goals and Objectives:

After completing this lecture, the audience/students should be able to:

1. Identify the four major areas of body language communication.
2. Understand the nuances expressed in a handshake.
3. Recognise an individual's mood and temperament based on their posture.
4. Comprehend the importance of personal space and proximity when interacting with another.
5. Identify, understand and interpret the ideas inadvertently expressed by an individual's eye movements. The audience will be able to practically apply this through two activities based on the 'Understanding Eye-Movements' subtopic.

You should be thoroughly conversant with the study of body language to teach this material.
The aim of this program is to offer you guidance for your presentation. You may choose to alter material in these slides to suit your needs.
