Update: Infection Prevention / Control in Nursing Practice

This dynamic and interactive session includes a discussion of  the different types of needle-stick injuries that can occur in nursing practice. Particular focus is made on the different types of risks involved.
The precautions taken in renal dialysis when a patient has a blood-borne virus is analysed and the relevance of segregating patients is explored. This session concludes with a discussion of this practice.

Carol Rosevear is a registered nurse with extensive experience in infection control. Carol is a qualified and highly experienced infection control nurse.
