This lecture discusses the complex issue of the development of a healthy personality in adolescent girls. The concepts of femininity, sexuality and society are discussed, in the context of the development of an adolescent girls’ identity as they become women. How young women are perceived within our culture, and issues of objectification of women’s sexuality are discussed at length.
