Pressure Ulcers Kill People - How to Prevent their OccurrenceThis session informs nurses of the importance of preventing pressure ulcers. The high instance of death related to ‘pressure ulcers’ and the seriousness of what, is a mainly preventable occurrence, is discussed. What causes pressures ulcers and how to predict there occurrence are also addressed. Ethical considerations especially, whether all pressure ulcers should be treated are also debated.
