Mechanisms of Arrhythmia: Assessment of AbnormalitiesThis lecture reviews bundle branch block. The normal bundle branch electrocardiograph strip is discussed and analysed. This normal / healthy reading is then used as a base line for assessing deflections and abnormalities in bundle branch activity. Left bundle branch block is discussed. Electrocardiograph strip patterns are described and interpreted and heart abnormalities and cardiac arrhythmias identified and discussed. The importance of using a 12 lead electrocardiograph (ECG) for accurate diagnosis is emphasised. This is highly informative and interactive lecture. The main concepts explored in this session are:
