Introduction to Electrocardiology Part One: 12 Lead ECGThis session provides an introduction to continuous cardiac monitoring and the use of the 12 lead ECG in the measurement of cardiac function. The need to measure heart performance at rest and during a 24 hour period is clearly explained. Interpretation of an ECG trace or recording is discussed in the context of a case study. Sinus rhythm and foundational recording / strip interpretation is provided. This is an interactive and highly informative session. The main concepts explored in this session are:
