Compartment Syndrome, Head Injuries / Trauma in ChildrenThis session provides information about compartment syndrome in children and strongly expresses a need for all nurses and the community generally to understand this condition. First aid measures for this syndrome are provided. Head injuries in children are discussed. Guidelines for identification of complications relating to head injuries are provided in order to help prevent fatalities. Primary and secondary brain damage resulting from head trauma is discussed.
