Outline: This image indicates the major difference between the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic divisions of the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) in the function of the pancreas. It outlines the different functions the pancreas can perform; as well as how these functions are affected by the Brain and Spinal Cord. This is intended to aid in a presentation of the Peripheral Nervous System.
