Julie is a registered nurse who holds a graduate certificate in aged-services management, a certificate in health nursing and a certificate in workplace training and assessment. Julie worked for eight years as hostel supervisor for the Anglican Homes for the Elderly in Melbourne (Australia). She has also served in private practice as an educational assessor, facilitator of learning and quality consultant. Julie is a member of the Accreditation and Practice Committee of the Nurses Board of Victoria and is currently undertaking a graduate diploma in industrial training and adult education at RMIT University (Melbourne, Victoria).
