Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, Graduate Diploma of Health Education, Master of Educational Studies, Member of the of Australian Diabetes Educators Association. Director Education Services, International Diabetes Institute, Caulfield, Victoria, Australia.

Christine has worked in the area of diabetes education for 19 years. In this time she has been instrumental in establishing the client and health professional education programs at the International Diabetes Institute. She is particularly interested in the development of client-centred integrated models of care that are efficient in terms of health, cost and resources. Christine has provided diabetes consultancy services at state and national level in Australia, as well as internationally. She has also been actively involved with the planning of postgraduate diabetes education programs and continues this interest in an advisory capacity.
