Assessment of Depressive Illness and Psychosocial EvaluationPersonalising the care of a person with depression is the focus of this lecture. Emphasis is made on the need to tailor the application of nursing theory and nursing skills to each individual person. There is an exploration of how to apply relevant nursing care according to a person’s needs including how to select relevant care rather than delivering ‘pre-packaged’ interventions.
